Dear Sailors,
I've lead OP since 2005 and I am finally tired of losing people because we're not doing enough.. or active enough. I am tired of feeling a sense of betrayal from this game. I've lost..nine trusted people over the last two years.. you know who you are. A lot of you came back and I let you. I play this game for fun... to make ties. .. etc. I wasn't always this way. I used to actually go out and do things.. throw parties and have fun in the real world.. perhaps thats why I'm social enough in game to be a captain. I promote people to advertise.. to keep the current members happy. But it seems.. just like it did in romance of the silk rose that whenever I go away people fade. This seriously has to stop.
I am tired of arguing with people to stay or come back. We have good members that aren't immature.
What do you mates want from me? shall I hang my head in defeat and simply give up? Shall I simply leave WoW? Should I disband OP even after all the hard work ive done and all the money I have spent? Should we all just quit and go our seperate ways?
I'm tired of the betrayal and the lack of anyone helping me out.
So its up to you, destroy the ship... or keep trying to build. Either way SOMEONE has to prove themselves reliable.
Seshy, Ran, and Pol are gone due to the inactive members. Seshy is keeping his mage around but I dont know how long that will last because he loves his mage.
OP is a small yet close knit guild.. most of us are on later at night... So what happens when im gone?
Sincerely. Katz

Katz, don't quit. It wouldn't be the same without you. I mean, who else is gonna get stuck in a tree for our amusement? It's not as funny when Xyr or Jaclyn do it. Seriously...stress happens. WoW stress is the same way, it happens. I've been a guild leader before, last year. It was stressful, for sure...eventually, my schedule kicked my butt and I had to turn leadership over to someone else, but before that, I got through it. Please don't leave, Katz. You make it fun.

*hugs* I know it's upsetting Katz, but there's little we can do about the people who leave. You're the heart of the guild and you really don't get enough appreciation for it. I feel really bad that you've gone to all this trouble and expense to give the members what they ask for, but turn their back on you because they say it's not good enough for them.
To be blunt, they can go f**k themselves.
I don't want you to quit or leave because things just wouldn't be the same with out you. If things are too stressful and no one is really helping enough, then maybe we should just keep it the way it is. Let's just stay a small guild with the people who are really loyal and who we enjoy playing with. All we need is each other. We don't need to bust our asses for those that just complain or really don't care.
If it's still too stressful to handle the pressure of leading the guild, be it small or big, then maybe we should disband. I'm not saying we should quit or have anyone leave the game. Rather instead, we could maybe join another guild as a group, so that way we won't be separated and you won't have to solo the pains of leading a guild on your own.
I know it might seem like a waste, especially the latter option, but you shouldn't have to or need to suffer the stress and pains of all this. You deserve to relax and have fun too. We don't want to lose you Katz.

*sniffles* the kat leaveing? maybe? please dont your a good kitteh kat and we all love youz to death (i dont know bout oxy but i do ) Like raz said your our heart were your blood we if we dont go out and support you in all different way then we all die in away. Im sorry that you feel that the people leaveing are leaveing because we dont do our jobs (co-captains), i think we do our best this sever is underpopulated and were feeling it with inactive people and the works. Our guild on AD was just us...you your friends and your friends friends that we all got along with (hopefully) if thats how it needs to be then so be it have it that way. If you want a bigger guild and we cant support ourself when your gone for periods of time and such then we might all leave OP and find a guild that will accept all of us. But it wont be the same. Although we would have each other and be with new people that will hopefully accept us as who we are (crude humor and all, were pirates still right arggg) If it comes down to the last option im sorry for OP and im sorry for Cassy's waste of time, money and effort into this guild she tryed to build and maintain though hardships in real life and on here. But i think no one should have any stress in a game be it a MMO or RTS FPS games with guilds. Cassy you have my support in what ever you do, ill back you up even if Oxy doesnt . If you do leave cassy ill miss you forever! So u better go back to Ussjtrunks P.S. if none of this makes since deal with it

Well, I didn't transfer servers, and I don't care to start new toons on a different server, so I'm kind of technically out of OP I guess. I would like to put in my two cents though.
"Let's just stay a small guild with the people who are really loyal and who we enjoy playing with. All we need is each other. We don't need to bust our asses for those that just complain or really don't care."
He got it right. On AD, I never saw the guild as trying to grow or expand to be a huge group. I just saw a group of people who enjoyed playing the game together. Now that OP is gone from AD, Thomas and I started a group to serve us the same purpose. The stress is only attatched to trying to make the guild larger. Just relax, let it stay how it is: just a group of friends. Eventually new people will join, but it's nothing to stress about.

All guilds go through rough times. MHP has been through a lot. At one point there were like three active members. Once we tried to merge with another guild...that didn't work out. As long as those loyal to the guild stick around, everything will be fine. Don't worry about expanding, that's why you have alliances and people will come when they see that you're a good guild. But, just so you know, if you decide you do want to all move to another guild, MHP would take any and all of you. ^^ We pirates have to stick together! Yaaar!
